Welcome to Cosearch! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cosearch Chrome Extension, our cloud services (FastAPI Server), and the web dashboard (collectively, the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms. Our payments and subscriptions are securely managed by Creem, our official Merchant of Record.

1Description of Service

Cosearch is an AI-powered browser productivity hub providing:

    PowerSearch: AI-driven search and command center.

    Knowledge Management: Smart Bookmarks and "Pocket" multi-modal storage.
  • •
    Productivity Tools: Todo systems and multi-language translation.
  • •
    AI Capabilities: Integration with models like Gemini and GPT.

2User Accounts & Membership

    Account Types: We offerAnonymous,Free, andPro/Team tiers.
  • •
    Entitlements: Your access to specific features (e.g., Vector Search, AI quotas, S3 storage limits) is determined by your current membership status, as calculated by our EntitlementResolver.
  • •
    Pro Subscription: Pro features are unlocked via a paid subscription. All billing, renewals, and tax handling are processed by Creem.

3Usage Rules & Quotas

    Fair Use: AI model calls and vector searches are subject to "Fair Use" quotas. We reserve the right to limit access if your usage patterns significantly exceed typical individual use or disrupt the Service.

    Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to reverse engineer the Extension, bypass membership controls, or use the Service for illegal data scraping or spamming.
  • •
    Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your session credentials.

4AI Content Disclaimer

    AI Responses: Cosearch provides tools to interface with AI models. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
  • •
    User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use the information provided by the AI.

5Intellectual Property

    Our Content: The Cosearch software, UI designs (including the Floating Widget characters), and proprietary algorithms are the property of Cosearch.
  • •
    Your Content: You retain ownership of the data you save (Bookmarks, Pocket items). By using the Service, you grant us a license to process this data solely to provide the Service to you.

6Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

    Merchant of Record: All financial transactions are conducted through Creem. By purchasing, you also agree to Creem's Checkout Terms.
  • •
    Automatic Renewal: Subscription plans auto-renew unless canceled. You can manage your subscription through the Cosearch dashboard.
  • •
    Refunds: Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy. Please refer to that document for specific eligibility and timeframes.

7Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cosearch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service or any service interruptions.

8Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
